FRONTERAS Collective
The FRONTERAS Collective is comprised of a diverse interdisciplinary group of scholars and practitioners committed to critical, transdisciplinary research rooted in thinking across epistemologies, leveraging creative methodologies, and working closely with partners in the places where we conduct our work. How are environmental change, extractivism, and development reshaping forest frontiers in the Américas? What pathways toward just transformations can we build through meaningful collaborations based on respect, reciprocity, and responsible research?
Key Research Themes: Climate & Environmental Justice; Indigenous Rights; Political Ecologies of Development; Biocultural Approaches to Conservation
